*Munros are mountains in Scotland over 3000ft in height. They were first listed in a table by Sir Hugh Munro - hence the name. There are 284 of these mountains and to some they provide a lifelong challenge to climb each and every one of them. Two of these Munros can be 'bagged' on foot from the hostel.
